After finally getting the program downloaded from two seperate FTP sites, I installed Aquamark 3 and ran a few tests. Here are the results using the untweaked preset option of "Very High quality Pentium/Athalon 2Ghz+, 64MB GFX Board".

DisplayDepth: 32
AntialiasingMode: 0
AntialiasingQuality: 0
AnisotropicFiltering: 4
DetailLevel: 4
AvgFPS: 42.435802

AvgFPSRender: 55.919407
AvgFPSSimulation: 176.072388
AvgTrianglesPerSecond: 12773716

MaxTrianglesPerSecond: 30192948
AquamarkScoreRender: 5592
AquamarkScoreSimulation: 8804
AquamarkScore: 42435
By playing around with a few of the graphics optionos I was able to get the score up over 42.52 but the difference is so slight that it doesn't seem to be worth it.
I tried various settings under the graphics portion of the program, I tried anti-alias on and off, increased the anisotropy setting at the default 4x and max 16x settings, as well as the trilinear and bi-linear settings without much difference.
It's an interesting program and the registered version, of course, has more functionality, but for the average guy out there the freeware version is plenty.
Give it a try and see how your system stacks up. Post your results here. www.aquamark3.com
