Jane Fonda, whom acquired the name of "Hanoi Jane" for her treasoness visit to North Vietnam during the war, was spat upon by a man claiming to be a Vietnam veteran.
The incident took place at a book signing for Fonda's new book "My life so far" when she spat upon with tobacco juice by the veteran. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct, but Fonda did not press charges and continued signing books.
The suspect involved, said that he did it for all his buddies that didn't have the opportunity to express their feelings in person to Fonda.
Images of Jane Fonda laughing and smiling with North Vietnamese soldiers in Hanoi and posing for video and pictures on one of the AAA guns situated in Hanoi during the war, outraged many men serving in Vietnam and people at home.
To the guy that spat on Jane Fonda, way to go!!!!
