I decided I hadn't read anything in a while and decided to treat myself to a few new books. I decided to order three books by Pete Callahan. Armored Corps #1West Point graduate Lieutenant Jack Hansen is stationed near the 38th Parallel in South Korea with the 1st Tank Battalion. They haven't seen action yet, but that's about to change. On Christmas Day, North Korea's power-mad dictator launches a surprise attack. And Hansen and his battalion of untested warriors must charge into battle to halt the invasion. Armored Corps #2 : Engage and DestroyThe battlefield changes in North Korea when the city of Tongduch'on comes under attack. Now, Lieutenant Jack Hansen of the American 1st Tank Battalion and his platoon find themselves caught in a brutal street-by-street battle for the city. Armored Corps: Attack by Fire (new release) Commander Lt. Jack Hansen and Charlie Company are ordered to leave North Korea to relieve a beleaguered tank division protecting the South Korean capitol of Seoul. But they'll have to fight through a communist stronghold to get there.

My latest crop of books are The Ten Thousand, a fictional story that revolves around the true events of the forced march of the Greek Mercenaries through thousands of miles of hostile Persian territory home to Greece.
Combat Vol. 1, Combat Vol. 2, and Combat Vol. 3 are three books with 3-4 short novelettes about future warfare from well know authors like Harold Coyle, Larry Bond, etc. I'm current on the last few chapters of the final story of the last book. The story I'm reading now is about a terrorist takeover over of a armed international space station and the attempts to retake the station.
