PBS just ran two one hour shows on the encounter between the Hood and Bismarck and the search for their wrecks.
The outfit that did the undersea discovery this time was not Ballard's group. I missed most of the first hour on the discovery of the Hood's wreckage unfortunately. I'll have to catch the rerun. I did see some of the wreckage on the bottom and the Hood's a real mess compaired to the Bismarck.
The next hour concentrated on the Bismarck and their "research" confirms that the torpedoes from the Dorsetshire were responsible for the actual sinking of the Bismarck. However, keep in mind the program was sponsored by British group.
