New rare aircraft models available from Revell AG
They were milestones in aircraft history and magnificent engineering achievements of the first half of the 20th century. The B-25 J Mitchell, Alpha Jet, T-28 Trojan or the Corsair F-4U-4 are names that not only excite the imagination of international historical aircraft enthusiasts.
The "Flying Bulls“ are dedicated to restoring and preserving historical aircraft, but they also go further and actually fly them. The aircraft in the current fleet have been renovated and transformed into certified civil aviation versions of what were formerly military aircraft.
These rare aircraft, which have been restored to immaculate condition, both technically and visually, are much in demand for air shows and are a big attraction at any kind of aviation event.
The great passion for historical aircraft is the common interest that has brought Revell GmbH & Co. KG and the "Flying Bulls“ together. On the basis of a partnership with the Red Bull energy drink producer, Revell this year will be supplying its toy retail outlets with the highlight of its collection of 1:48 plastic model kits - the B-25 J Mitchell.
This impressive-looking aircraft will be launched at the Nuremberg Toy Fair as part of the "The Flying Bulls Set“. This "top flight“ set consists of the B-25 J Mitchell kit, including basic paint set, brush, glue and thinners. There's also a can of Red Bull included, plus a B-25 poster and a multimedia CD-ROM, which takes on a virtual tour of the original aircraft's interior. In addition, there are breathtaking photos of the aircraft in flight. The spectacular pictures are supplemented by original aircraft sounds.
During the development work that led to the creation of this replica, Revell placed the utmost value on detail and accuracy.
