1/35 U.S. Medium Tank M26 Pershing (T26E3) (Finished Model) The Tiger HunterThe M26 Pershing was introduced in the final stages of WWII as the successor to the M4 Sherman. Featuring a powerful 50 caliber 90mm gun with a range of 1,400m, the Pershing was designed to take on the powerful German Tiger and Panther tanks. Equipped with a Ford GAF liquid cooled gasoline engine and torsion bar suspension, the Pershing boasted not only assault power but also excellent mobility. First deployed to Europe in February 1945, Pershing tanks were used as part of the drive into Germany. Pershing tanks were also deployed to Korea at the outbreak of war in June 1950, and overwhelmed the rival T34/85 Soviet built tanks of the North Korean and Chinese armies. - Fully assembled 1/35 scale M26 Pershing pre-painted with markings pre-applied.
- Hatches come separately and can be attached in either open or closed position.
- Gun barrel made from turned aluminum for added realism.
- Finished accessories which can be freely placed around the tank include 4 K ration boxes and 16 ammo boxes.
- Inside of road wheels made from die-cast metal for extra weight and realism.
- Markings depict No.5, 33rd Armored Rgt., 3rd Armored Div. (Germany, February 1945).
