Those of you with cable or dish will be lucky enough to see this show on A&E, Memorial Day 2004. This is a new and original film created especially to commemorate the anniversary of a battle that many people consider the most historically important of all time. Believe it or not, Gen. Eisenhower is played by Tom Selleck. Selleck, in my opinion is one of the best and most underrated American actors of his time, and will do it right. To bad George Scott is gone, there will never be another Patton like his. This is the reason the networks are getting their A----- kicked every week. A&E,BBC America,USA,History Channel, Discovery and Discovery Wings is where we spend our TV time.

The show was really first class. Tom Selleck looked like IKE and after a few minutes he was IKE. I don't know how historically accurate it was, but I hope the real Eisenhower had at least half of the character that Selleck portrayed. This was an EMMY deserving performance. Surprisingly, George Patton was played extremely well by Gerald McRaney (of "Major Dad" Fame). I had to wait for the credits as he was totally unrecognizable. I recorded this show and will watch it again. Keep your eyes on A&E or History Channel this one will be back! ;D ;D
