Keith, very lovely screenshots, but I gather from the posts of others on Prodigy Exiles that I want have a box that will run it. Sigh? Have you looked at Hearts of Iron, by the same people that did Europa Universalas(sp-fubar I know)

No, I haven't looked at Hearts of Iron, but I did look at the new game Legion being worked on by them. I'm also watching the progress on another called Praetorians. I thought I might try my hand at some Roman Empire era combat next whenever the games get released.

Hello Keith,
W:oW, I was impressed. Thanks for the info.
I just hope they do the career/campaign better then they did in IL-2. It was so console like. I never really cared about my pilot or anyone else in the Sim.

Keith-
Check out Hearts of Iron at Strategy Firt's web site. Basically it's very much like the WW2 monster game post we talked about on the old Pblitz! a year or so ago.

Spector-
Sorry, it's Strategy First for the Hearts of Iron link.
Keith-
Nice screen shots, but it sounds like I won't have enough computer to run the game, Pity, really.

Barry I know the name of that tune. I'm starting to play it more and more myself. I sure do get tired of upgrading every few years just to keep up.

Keith-
I have got more old games than I can shake a stick out. I'm having fun rediscovering some of these, so I'm not worrying too much about upgrading any time soon.

I've got games that date back to 1978 on cassette tapes! ;D
I have never counted them all but I've probably got close to 300 computer games of various types.

Hello Keith, Don't tell me you still have a Comodore with a "Datasette" tape drive? Oh, I miss those days of manual rewind

I have a a TRS-80 Model IV that can use tape or single-sided 180KB floppy disks. I used to have a Model III that didn't have disk drives, but I gave that to a nephew long ago.
I picked up a used C64 with disk drive from an amateur radio operator about 12 years ago to use as a "packet radio station" on 2 meters but never used it for that. I've still got the computer and a few games I bought for it.
I finally dumped my old TRS-80 Model 1000 286/8mhz machine in the trash. I only keep my older Model IV because I have a number of Avalon Hill games for it and have it hooke up to my packet radio TNC instead of the C-64. I haven't used been active in amateur radio for a long time now. I just sort of lost interest in it gradually.
