We return now to the days of yesteryear when a flight sim called Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe held sway over the flight simming public....... Good news for people that have been clamoring at LucasArts gates for an updated version of SWOTL for the past 8-9 years. Larry Holland and LucasArts have finally gotten out of their Star Wars rut and have heard the cries of the masses. Read about the pending new sim here: biz.yahoo.com/bw/020417/170295_1.html

Great news indeed!!! Perhaps the voices of the loyal fans have been heard! Now, let's be sure to keep those voices telling them what we loved about SWOTL; what set it apart from all the others; what made it the long lasting sim that it is. You can certainly use this forum to do so, but it would also be good to go on record at Totally Games own message boards. pub30.ezboard.com/bofficialtotallygamesboardOthers are already weighing in with their ideas. For me, I want to see the mission builder included again -- and I want to see what Herr Heitman can devise to challenge us all... <G> Richard

The problem with ezboard is that they are anything but easy! They have tons of popups, and you have to go through pages of signup pages to refuse or accept spam e-mail from their sponsors. But I have made my voice heard over there as well.

Well, ezboard does have more popups than this proboard does, but you don't need to sign-in or register to post.
I'm just figuring that if they read the feedback anywhere, they are most likely to read it on their own message board.
How ever we do it, let's be sure to register our preferences.

You don't have to register if the board owner doesn' t want you to on Proboards. It's a restriction that I have placed on my board.
Login here works like on Ezboard. If you don't LOGOFF the next time you visit you will already be logged in.
Oh, if you want to use your cutsom avatar image the max size is 100x100 pixels. So you may need to resize your current image.

;D This is great news indeed!!!!!!! Absolutely! A long awaited announcement and long overdue. With the popularity of SWOTL back then it was a mystery as to why they waited so long for a sequel.

Hello All,
It was from EZBoard (I think) that I saw a post by Keith and that is how I found my way here.
I am just glad they are doing something about an Update but I am still not sure by the description if it will truly be a SWOTL 2 let alone a Combat Flight Sim. Many are implying it and I am hoping for it.
