The day has arrived! The long awaited patch for Emperor is now up for download: ftp.sierra.com/pub/sierra/emperor/updates/si_emperor_update_en_10_1010.exeOne minor problem that is being worked on is that the the MP server doesn't seem to want to recognize the new patched version when you attempt to login. Sierra is aware of the server problem and are working on it and it should be corrected sometime soon. |

Well great!! I was just going to ask you if it might be available any time soon. I've started playing around with Emperor again, though I really botched the Feng Shui on my current city...this is the first time that I've done it so badly that immigration has come to a halt, hehe. Guess I've just been ignoring Feng Shui more and more, since I never before saw any reason for keeping things in harmony.

It depends on how important such things as Feng Shui is to you as a player. I rarely worry much about it. My goal is simply to finish each city as soon as possible by meeting the goals.
Feng Shui effects the efficiency of certain buildlings, the happiness of your people, and the opinion of other cities towards your city. A harmonious city will receive better treatment from other cities from what I've been told.
On another note, there is a work around for the MP server update problem. The patched version of the game is not being recognized by the MP server and it keeps prompting the player to update, which of course he already has and therefore cannot do.
The work around is to edit the WONLobby.cfg file with notepad. Change the last line so that the version number reads 1.0.1.0 instead of 1.0.0.0.
Save the file as WONLobby.cfg.
