I gave up on SP. Lots rave about it but i cant understand why. It has some good ideas but in general It is quite flawed. Free? yes.. but its constanlty being upgraded and recquitres 100's of megs of downloading. Also with the upgrades wich are really just patches to the numerous bugs, many things that were fixed in previous patches re-occur after new ones. over 8 versions and they cant get a game engine over 10 years old to work...?  No thanks. I went with talonsoft game system. The Gold versions work flawlessly on 98SE and only a few beefs from the XP users..but fixes that are easy ont recquire anything but telling the game to save games in the right path and no 100's of megs to download every month. It looks just like GHQ minis and has a system that is bread from panzerblitz and a poular minitures sytem called spearhead. 100's of scenarios and a much easier editor then SP for OOBS and new maps. |
