Just spent two days downloading the 170MB demo and played it through three times and removed it from my hard drive.
This is another Sudden Strike clone where the tank turrets wave around aimlessly looking for targets when there is one right in its path.
The animations aren't bad but it plays more like an arcade game. The contols of the game to move and place your men and equipment are not intuitive and can be a bit confusing. Another problem with this one is that it relies on a "Hero" character, in this case, called Hartmann. Lose the hero in battle and all your troops and weapons suffer for it. The hero increases the accuracy of your weapons and improves the morale of your troops.
I think I'll stick with the Close Combat: Afrika Korps demo for now.
