Well it appears I'm back after having difficulties with the new Proboard setup...
In the meantime I've been playing several new games, which I'll post about here. The first one is, as you may have guessed from the Subject line, Hearts of Iron 2.
Now this isn't exactly a new game but I delayed buying it because of some problems I had with the first version. I'm happy to say that all is well with this one however and it's a lot of fun...IF you like the World War 2 Grand Strategy genre. Actually, I've been having more fun running the 1936-1947 campaign until the outbreak of hostilities, rather than playing the actual combat years. This game is a "What If" lover's dream since you're in charge of practically everything that goes on (e.g. in my last game the computer...playing the US...chose Wendel Wilkie over FDR in the 1940 election).
I'll post on the other two games in seperate posts but won't elaborate much unless there's some interest since I'm far from a great reviewer of games
