The second game I've been playing lately is Gary Grigsby's new updated version of his classic "Pacific War." This game, like HoI2, is also not exactly new but it was priced so high ($80.00) that I held off a long time hoping the price would drop. It didn't, and the temptation finally became to great for me and I ordered it.
Like its predecessor PacWar, this is a grand-strategy game of the Pacific Theater in World War 2. There are a lot of great tweaks and changes but the pace is much slower than the original and frankly I'm finding it hard to maintain interest in it.
