Well, I'm still playing the COD 2 demo.
But recently I downloaded the legitimate free copy of the entire game Ground Control from Fileplanet (I think it was.) I played that for a while but like all those games were you have to move your units through a maze of obstacles on the ground from a God's-eyeview it got tiresome after a while and I uninstalled it after several days of constant play.
Now I've got the Rise & Fall Civilizations at War demo installed and have been playing that quite a bit. It has the look of Rome Total War graphically speaking when zoomed into the close and personal mode or when playing in the game's hero mode. The hero mode lets you fight with your troops, in the case of the demo, as a warrior princess Cleopatra. She can do a lot of damage to the Romans in the demo game. Then there is a skirmish mode where you have to construct your city and gather resources in order to take on one weaker and one strong enemy and try to survive or win.
