www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/ptech/01/13/robots.atwar.ap/index.htmli read this and thought it was very cool, i have seen a little bit of robots that were being designed for the military, but none quite like this. i really thought the fact the engineer was able to make upgrades in the field was cool. I also like when the soldier said he had no problem writing a letter, saying the robot was killed , can they have another.

Looks cool! ;D The Iraqis are hoping to get our forces bogged down in house to house fighting. Imagine having a company of these things checking out the out the houses. I think I'd want one with a spring laucher for a couple of grenades so if some Iraqi was hiding around the corner I could have it lob a grenade at the guy. Or they could have dispense some CS gas.

only bad thing was they said the forces in kuwait were not training with them, and that not enough robots were ready. however, maybe they just dont want them to know that they will be using them, who can say

It's about time we started using robots for war. The Japanese Defense Force has had them for years. ;D
