As you can see you'll obtain a higher "rank" as you contribute and post to the message boards.

You all start out at a lowly rank of "Sturmann". When you reach a sufficient number of posts you will obtain a new rank title. When you do you can apply to me for a new collar tab that matches your new rank to be displayed as your avatar image.

Due to the limited number of member group slots in proboard there are only five user ranks:

Sturmann
Unterscharfuehrer
Scharfuehrer
Obersturmfuehrer
Sturmbannfuehrer

Other higher ranks are reserved for me and any moderators I may decide to appooint to oversee things.

Imposters will be sent to the Eastern Front.

As a newbie, right click, and SAVE AS this image file to your computer. Upload it to your personal website and link to it there. Do not link to directly to this image in your profile (I'll be checking.)

Your Sturmann Collar Tab

In your profile select NOPIC from the proboard list of avatars, then check the box on the line below, enter the URL to this image on your website.

Example:

www.mywebsite.com/sturmann.gif

Set the profile's image width to 100 and height to 63 for it to appear correctly proportioned.

Just a bit of fun.  Kinda goes with the name of the board.

All newbies qualify for the "sturmann" collar tab. Just downlod the image. Store it on the web some place, then go to your profile and link to it there, set the max sizes to 100 wide 63 high for it to show correctly.

When you have posted enough and gain a new "rank" you can petition me for the next collar tab "unterscharfuehrer."

I can't wait to see what the other Ranks look like but that's only because I collect all kinds of Military Award images from around the World and create a few of my own Awards to include the Rank I will be using as my Avatar. What you see now is basically a variation of a WW2 USAAF Buck Private. It will look a lot better when the "Wings" are added after post 49 ;D

kbearski attained the rank of untersharfuhrer for his 50th post and is well on his way to his next tab.

puff88 attained the rank of scharfuhrer for his 100th post and is working his way towards his next promotion.
