They know the troops will come home and want something for their home entertainment system. The cigarette companies handed out freebies during WW1 and look where that got us. heheh. Ok, so games aren't cancer inducing drugs. I'm just being a smart aleck I guess. Galland |

well true smokes seemed to only help while the men were fighting. afterwards nothing but problems. as long as they dont become total junkies and start neglecting their duties i think it will be ok. im sure they know that most enlisted men and women are of a young age, that tend to like video games. ,maybe regular advertising is not bringing in the dough anymore

I imagine that off duty hours in a sub are pretty dull and anything that keeps them occupied would be a welcome change.
