Two weeks ago I attended my brother's USAF OTS graduation ceremonies in Mongomery Alabama. He's got a brand new gold bar on his flight cap and all his uniforms. Now he's headed to Vance AFB for pilot training. Updates will follow...

One OTS story he told me: My brother never saw Full Metal Jacket, the famout cult classic movie about USMC boot camp. Well... he left the proverbial jelly donut in his footlocker and caught hell for it about half way through OTS. I thought that was funny. ;D

Just saw on cable tv at the place I was staying the past few days that there is going to be a new reality tv show about actual basic training. The show is going to follow a group of new recruits or cadets through basic.

To bad I don't have cable at home.
