Just recently, there was a news report of a new "e-bomb" that may be used to wipe out Iraqa communication and command and control lines with a single blast. The "bomb" sends out a high intensity EM pulse that would fry virtually every solid state device in Bahgdad.
We all saw the video clips on the news of the use of the old Vietnam era 15,000lb fuel-air bomb called the "daisy cutter" that was dropped on Taliban cave complexes.
It was announced that the U.S. has in development a newer 21,000lb fuel-air bomb called "MOAB" that is satellite guided. The blast effect is reportedly similar to a small nuclear device. This experimental weapon may be used to crush any underground Iraqi tunnels or comlexes.

Keith, Yeah, I saw the article about the "E" weapon also. It is an ElectoMagnetic Pulse weapon akin to a nuc! In testing it has not been all that effecient, but it theory it will fry all the Iraq electonics via some overflights of a couple of cruise missles. "Game over man!" A common quote is that in Gulf I it took 16 bombs/missles to take out a target. Now? It takes one (1) missle to take out sixteen (16) targets. That is the quantum advance in technology in the last 13 military years.

It will be interesting to see what technology is made public once the battle starts. A while back there was a article someone mentioned that had a small tracked robot that would enter buildings in advance of the troops and carry a video camera so that the operator could see if there was a ambush or problem around the corners or in rooms.
