I must confess I slacked off in checking this board. I've been preoccupied by thoughts not related to gaming. Unusual, eh?
I've learned how to make tuna and egg salad since I left. I also gained a newfound appreciation for Porta Bella mushrooms and olive oil. Olive oil simply is not used in Sourthern cooking, so I've never seen it outside of fancy Italian restaurants. I cooked a gigantic shroom tonight, but I used too much soy sauce. I'm still learning about culinary basics.
Last night my girlfriend (another new thing, heh) taught me a neat trick. She marinates shroom slices in vinegar/oil salad dressing. Then she cooks them in additional dressing and olive oil. To this she ads chunks of chicken breast. It is quite tasty on top of sticky rice.

I love mushrooms, but I'm not a big fan of oil and vinegar type dressings. I like my foods pretty basic....meat and 'taters. Sauteed mushrooms in butter are fine by me.  |

OK, I'm not real sure about the focus of this MB.
I only drop in ocassionally and it has been quite a while so I acknowledge that things will/can change. Last I was here you all were pretty much into Steel Panthers, and a great souce of information re Sp you were.
But now?
Tuna Fish?
Keith? This is looking a little grim.
Give me some strategy game topics or give me...

OK, I'm not real sure about the focus of this MB. I only drop in ocassionally and it has been quite a while so I acknowledge that things will/can change. Last I was here you all were pretty much into Steel Panthers, and a great souce of information re Sp you were. But now? Tuna Fish? Keith? This is looking a little grim. Give me some strategy game topics or give me... Any member can start a thread on a game they are into. All I ask is that they post it in the correct major category on the main index. I'm not playing half the game that some of you are so it's hard for me to be the only one creating discussions on things you all may be interested in. I've been thinking about reorganizing the main categories on the board so that individual games would have their own topic (not just a thread). |

Well between assorted health issues and EverQuest, I'm afraid I haven't been around much. What time I can devote to gaming has been going into EQ. As for mTk... you'll never satisfy him  -J |
