The board is decidedly under-used by the registered members allowed to post. I see small numbers of guests checked in at times but still the number is small.
If you folks have a favorite game, start a thread here in the General Dicussion catagory and bring some friends to discuss it. Don't wait for me to start one for you. I couldn't possibly keep track of all the old and new games that people play and, I'll admit I may not have a personal interest in playing it myself but that shouldn't deter you from talking about it.
If you don't have a favorite game or want to talk about historical or military issues, there's a section for that down the list on the main page.
Like building or collecting models there's a military modeling section.
Have a collection of war movies or tv shows you like to watch there's a section for that.
Have a computer problem or looking for advice or opinions there's a section for that too.
Keep it friendly and there should be no problem.
Let's see if we can liven things up here. I check the board several times per day.

It has been awfully quiet and I admit that I haven't been checking in as much as I once did. You can still blame EverQuest for that I guess, since it's taken up a lot of the time I used to put into other games. It's gotten to the point that a lot of what I do in EQ has the "been there, done that" feel to it but I can't seem to stop, lol.
I did download the Emperor RotMK patch but have yet to do anything with it. I also pre-ordered Railroad Tycoon 3, which (last I looked) has a release date of October 23.

Seems there are still some bugs that we somehow missed in the patch. Oh, well, we got a lot of them. It also allows you to build monuments in open play now.
I've been playing through all the campaigns of Emperor. Started Tuesday night with the tutorials and just finished the fourth dynasty, the Qin, a moment ago. I've already previously played through my old haunt, the Song Jin, which I beta tested extensively for both the game and the patch. I'm making save files as I play so I can send them to people having problems playing a particular mission. I'm trying to hold it down to about 4 saves per city from beginning to end.
Also been playing a bit of SWAT 3 again, now that I've got the tactical game of the year version and the latest patch. I had the original and had to download all the patches and updates to make it current on my old version.

I'm doing what I can to publicize Panzerblitz's availability to the gaming world without being obnoxious about it or spamming other boards. That's why I suggest that some of the members here drag a friend over if they find they have a common game interest that isn't being discussed elsewhere (or even if it is.) If we can get a few more bodies in here on a regular basis I think things will finally start to take off.
