This time when I was over in the UK I got lucky and was able to see the Battle of Britian Lancaster take off, do a few circuits over me, and fly off into the overcast.
With 4 engines and no bombs, a Lancaster takes off REAL fast.
Got stills and videos of it but have not done any correction on the video - to get it down to a reasonable length for viewing and edit the washed out sky. Film is still better than digital.

There's a few Lancs still out there only one or two that actually fly.
