Keith-
I wanted to see if you are still around. Hey, did you ever finish your TW:rome campaign. Your AAR's were fascinating. Did you get the expansion disk, Barbarian Invasions.

I'm still here.
Nope still have that RTW campaign pending, although I have played it more since I last posted about it.
I've been trying to destabilize a few of the other faction cities so I can have my legion move in and put it undersiege with the object of taking over those provinces but so far no progress there.
Other than that it was a matter of building up the other cities I had and retaking those that manage to rebel from time to time.
I've been coming to the conclusion that the only way it will end is when I attack and take control of Rome.

Keith-
So have you gotten the "Barbarian Invasions" add-on?
I have to tell you your AAR's for TW:Rome were the best. I really enjoyed them immensely.

I haven't gotten the add-on. I'm not sure I will. I might, I'm just not sure.
I've still got that campaign save I was working on. I just got tired of the seemingly endless rebell/recapture process. I started building up my forces so I could finally take Rome and defend myself from the other two factions, but the rebellions keep cropping up. I also had been trying to destablize a couple of Brutii provinces in the east as I mentioned. One of these days I'll get back to it, but I'm not sure when. I just had to stop playing for a while or I'd get burned out on it and give up.
The only thing I added to the game were some 3rd Party mods that added modded historical battles to the game.
I actually prefer fighting the battles more than the campaign part of the game.

Keith-
Well I can understand about the burnout, I'm getting that way with Combat Mission. As noted I am starting a PBEM War in the Pacific battle against rich Giberson. We intend to post AAR's on the PE forum, perhaps you'll stop by and read some.
BTW, I don't have HBO, but on a business trip caught some "Rome" episodes. Have you seen any? Pretty good stuff.
Later...and good luck with the individual battles.
