hi all i am looking for any help with the self playing bugle..i cam across this site when looking for one..as you say its sad that we have to look to this kind of thing but in some church,s we have no other way of "playing" the last post..if you could send me any addys from your neck of the woods please do so..as sometimes we are left without.. The article about this bugle first appeared in the San Fransico "Chronicle" in October of 2002. You might get info from them on it. The Pentagon experimented with it but I don't know if they went ahead with ordering it. Here is a link to a patent description of the instrument: www.patentstorm.us/patents/6995307-fulltext.htmlThe inventor' name is Simon Andrew Britton, New York, NY. The patent assignee is S&D Consulting International, Ltd., New York, NY. You can order the $525 bugle here: www.ceremonialbugle.com/Products.htm
