maybe Keith or someone knows this movie. this is all i can remember.
before i forget about it, im looking for the name of a war movie. I think it was made in the late 60's early 70's. WWII eastern front. I can only remember the ending. A squad of german soldiers are talking next to a farmhouse, there is the political officer and they are arguing about who gets shot or something. The machinegunner says, Im a crack gunner and more important than you. I think they were arguing over some prisoners, to kill them or not. One of the kindhearted soldiers convinces them to let them go, and so he goes to free them by himself and the civilians kill him and take his gun. and i think it ends there.
Its not Cross of Iron, Someone said Come and See but i dont think thats it either. Im trying to figure it out so i can rent it.
