For those of you that enjoy military music now and then, when a good march tune will get you moving in your day, there are a large number of MP3s you can download from the various U.S. miltary bands' websites.
The Air Force Reserve bands seem particularly prolific and offer a huge library of military cerimonial and traditional tunes to download. I've downloaded most of their stuff and the quality of most of the MP3s is exceptional and it's all legally free for the downloading.
I've also paid visits the various Navy, Marine, and Army band websites and grabed a ton of stuff from them as well.
I've been downloading and sharing music MP3s the past couple of years. I do things backwards, I get the MP3s and if I like the stuff I'll probably buy the CD.

I've been looking for a certain piece of Teutonic martial music. The title is; "The Saint Petersburg March", I can't find it anywhere.
Have you ever heard of it? Maybe it goes by an other title.

Maybe it goes by an other title. "Petersburger Marsch"?! Jawohl, mein Herr! I have a copy of it in MP3 format I grabbed from one net using WinMX filesharing program. It's not the best sounding MP3 but its the only one I have of that particular march. German march music is surprisingly popular on those services.... traditional and 3rd Reich marches. |

I am an Army Captain in the 2nd Infantry Division trying to get a good copy of the 2ID March so that it can be played immediately after reveille. I am wondering if you have a good copy of reveille and/or the 2ID march. It has been extremely difficult to find on the internet.
