The following was posted by Darren Thompson on another board:
Resolutions over 1024x768 – This is a known problem with the mouse pointer being ‘off’ when you try and click on a citizen or building. A patch is underway, which has resolved this issue. For the moment you could run the game in 1024x768 and put up all the other settings.
Cheat to unlock the camera angle
To activate the cheats press Enter and type Nero and press Enter again, which in the game (city). You can then use SHIFT & C to activate the free view camera.
No overlay to see water access – If you click on the Cistern you can see the water access.
‘You have to see that your wood cutters strike wood, while no one is on the farm growing vegetables for your people- and you cannot change this.’
‘You cannot send workers from one part of your industry to another to solve problems you cannot send workers from one part of your industry’ – Yes, you can swap jobs with citizen worker somewhere else. Sometimes the citizen won’t do it straight until there clock cycle ends.
You won't get demands of other cities – Yes, you do depending on the map you play. For example cities request goods in the map ‘for the empire’. Also, you can choose from 80 cities to get goods from in the editor.
Buildings not working – We have not encountered this problem. If you can show it from a save game, please send the save game to admin@fireflyworlds.com
I will say one more thing that is more of a fundamental game flaw than a bug is that u can never house all ur citizens as every house will only ever hold 1 family. – I don’t understand why a house should hold more than one family, this seems realistic to me. The game does not require you to house every one of your citizens in order to keep your happiness level high or migration level. Citizens will come to your city if your happiness levels are high. This is great as these citizens will be available take up jobs as soon as you lay down a building. Housing is simply a factor that affects happiness. Happiness is the reason why citizens arrive and leave your city.

Does the games have tutorial?
Yes, the game does have a tutorial which you can read and listen to while playing the game and close it at any time.
The cistern bug, if you have shacks and build a cistern they no longer need a well and will upgrade, however if you have a cistern and build a shack it does need a well..
This is by design. We treat wells and cisterns as two different needs for housing evolution. Once a house has upgraded to a level where they need cistern access they will no longer use or require the water from wells. But in order to evolve to that level they water from a well, even if they are already in range of a cistern. Also if a house devolves I.E. the cistern is destroyed, they may reach a point where the well water is required again.
Ive got a huge city of population 32000, and about 20000 housed and only 2000 vagrants. It seems as tho ppl wont move into a house unless there is work nearby tho u can manullay tell them to live anywhere (tho to tell them to live somewhere requires placing a shack, meaning u cant tell them to live in insulae, which really sux).
CivCity : Rome works around a work-led system rather than a housing-led system. You can build all the houses you want, but the vagrants will only leave the forum if there’s a job for them. If you have upgraded to a large hovel and have empty Insulaes placed, they citizens will automatically moving into the empty Insulae. The large hovel will return to a shack.
