Keith, my CCR manual back cover sez ALT-Q for screenshot but it doesn't appear to work. At least I can't find them. Where are they? See this threadALT-F is also on the back cover.

I haven't tried the screenshot one yet. There is that CivCity Rome folder in My Documents and there is another CivCity Rome folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Firefly Studios\CivCity Rome.
I'll have to check it out later to see if it works or not. My manual says ALT+Q on the back and ALT+F (That's why I called this thread "documented and undocumented".)

Good that it doesn't work for you either, Keith. well, not good at all. Anyway, the webmaster at the CCR forum "claimed" that FireFly removed some of the hotkeys from some manuals & I was just checking what yours sez.

Yeah, mine has them listed on the back outside cover. I think that they probably didn't have time to get them working properly and just opted to delete them in order to get the game out the door as fast as they did.
Question, does your internet connection go dead on you while playing the game?
You probably don't notice being on a dial up. Since I'm on broadband I'm essentially connected all the time and when I exit CCR and try to open a web page I have problems getting connected and get error pages. It usually takes me a couple of minutes, reattempts or even a computer reset in some cases to get things back to normal.
I still haven't figured out what CCR needed a connection to the internet for. I've run into that in the Rise & Fall Demo, GOTRE, and now CCR. I wish they would tell us what it is for so I can make a intelligent decision on whether or not I want to allow it or not.
I may try blocking its access in my firewall program and see if CCR still runs. Rise and Fall would not run with access blocked.

Glory of the Roman Empire uses the internet to upload scores, if someone wants to, and to provide game news in the main menu. Rise and Fall is really made for the multiplayer crowd, so its phone home behaviour is not so annoying. You know all that, but I just want to work this out in my mind. I can see online features. I am a little at a lose to work out how it is being used with this game.
My best guess is that is looking for patches. Stronghold II downloaded its latest patch on starting the game some months ago.

Nope, no internet problems, but I don't usually play graphics intensive games while online, unless I'm just doing a quick check of someone's save. I can play all games while online, I just get the lag monster a bit & might have to turn down graphics & resolution which I absolutely hate to do. AOE3 I only play while online. I am amazed how well my old Sony works (Especially with YOUR Radeon 9800 Pro!)! Waiting for a bit is nothing new to me. I also didn't install that additional game update thingie, but CCR still wanted to phone home. I let it. I don't need my computer searching all over the internet & suggesting patches & driver updates for everything I no longer use. I am already slow enough on dialup. I blame bush & Bill Gates! ;D Bite the bullet, Keith & let it rape your computer. I have excellent Security, you?

I prefer doing patches manually.
I've got more security on this thing than you probably do, Mark. I've got three seperate programs scanning for virii, intrusions, spyware, and malware after my infection problem back in June, I'm not taking any chances.
