Well, the news I spoke of in the post prior to this one has come to be now. Yes, I NOW have Children of the Nile AND a LEGAL version. Reason I didn't say about it earlier is I got "snookered" with a "bottleg" version. My official copy arrived yesterday and is now installed, and yes, including the newest US patch. While I can't say that I've been at it hot and heavy, I have "played at" it.
The list is forever growing ;D!!! What can I say?!
Sincerely, Phil

Well, hope everybody's stocking were full with the newest games that have come out. I have some more additions myself, but will save them after a couple arrive as they did not yet come in time for Christmas. A Great Christmas as always and hope all had same.

As I said, another Great Christmas for me. I just received all the games I was due and even a bonus. So, I can now add these to my list:
Age of Empires 3 Civilization 4 Knights of Honor Stronghold Warchest (includes the original Stronghold and the Stronghold Crusader) and Two Thrones
Have all installed except Age of Empries 3 as of late last night, but will get around to that directly. So, here is another recap of my complete list:
Age of Empires 2 Age of Empires 3 Big Game Hunter (the original) Big Game Hunter 6 Boggle Caesar 3 Children of the Nile Civilization 2 Civilization 3 Civilization 4 Clue Command and Conquer Generals C&C Gold (the original) C&C Red Alert C&C Red Alert 2 C&C Tiberian Sun Deadlock Emperor - Battle for Dune (Westwood) Emperor - Rise of the Middle Kingdom (Sierra) Empire Earth Freelancer Grand Slam Hunting 2004 Trophies Grand Slam Hunting N. American 29 Knights of Honor Life Lords of the Realm Lords of the Realm 2 Lords of the Realm 3 Medieval Lords Medieval Total War Monopoly Pharaoh (and Cleopatra) Pirates! R.E. Lee - Civil War General Risk Rome Total War Scrabble Shogun Total War Sorry! Stronghold Stronghold Crusader Two Thrones Yahtzee AND Zeus (and Poseidon)
As to my "to gets" that remain right now, I have:
Caesar 2 Caesar 4 (once out) Empire Earth 2 The Next "Grand Slam Hunting" (also once out), and Stronghold 2
Enough to keep me busy for sure, and even right now. So, hope all you were as fortunate as myself, and keep gaming ;D !!!

Dang Phil, that is some list I can see long hours in front of the keyboard in your future, hehe. I haven't bought anything new since War in the Pacific. My current gaming list:
War in the Pacific Crown of Glory Sims 2 Sacred Diablo EverQuest Children of the Nile (gave this one another chance and found that I DID like it....but stalled when playing the Bubastis scenario since trying to build in the delta wasn't much fun) Hearts of Iron 2 Pirates SimCity 4 (put this one back on the machine after a long hiatus)
How is Civ 4? I've heard good reviews but really haven't looked into it.

You ask about Civ. 4, well what can I say?! It's a Sid game, so it is definately worth getting. There are both a CD and DVD version, but the CD has almost 4 CDs from what I hear. Got the DVD of course. Also a patch has to be downloaded as well but this one you can do MP without getting other CDs because of the patch among other things. So, that's an improvement. Does look great, but haven't really gotten into too much yet. Will have to get back with you for my review when I have time to play it through a few times (probably in a new thread).
Also, yes, many hours in front of the PC as always. Not too much else I can do with my sight as it is, so keeps me occupied ;D !!!
Sincerely, Phil

The only things I keep intalled are the games that I actively play. I keep the citybuilders Caesar III thru Emperor installed because I moderate those boards and use them for quick checks on player problems.
Children of the Nile is isntalled because it is still "new" enough to play now and again.
I have Jurassic Park Operation Genesis installed as a change of pace game.
I recently uninstalled Swat 4, a FPS game.
I have Rome Total War installed but haven't played in a while. I have considered uninstalling it.
I gave the Star Wars Empire At War demo a try but uninstalled it a week or so ago.
The only thing I'm really playing actively is the the Call of Duty 2 pre-release demo. I've been kicking around the idea of getting it. The demo is great fun and challenging.
I've got stacks of games I haven't played or even installed. I recently got a copy of Joint Operations Combined Arms as part of my compensation package but haven't installed it yet.

New Update:
Now that the E3 exhibition is all but history (as Keith knows this as well), many new games will soon be out. The top 10 list is also quite interesting and I have a little FYI for Puff as well. I am also adding a couple to my "to get" list although one I have alredy ordered as I received a discount coupon.
So, first for you Puff, there is a new World of Warcrraft game that made the E3 top 10 list. Being as you have the original thought you'd be interested.
As for me, my new to gets as follows: Command & Conquer - First Decade (which I ordered) Medieval 2 - Total War (also seen on the E3 top 10)
Many new games this year and hopefully Santa will be good to me again as well as my soon to be had birthday!
Sincerely, Phil

Well now have First Decade installed. Not exactly what I thought, but was a very nice addition. It's all the C&C games with all the expansions on one DVD. The official ones for Generals, Tiberian Sun, and Red Alert 2, but also the add-on missions for Red Alert and the original C&C. So, not bad, and glad I got it as I only have one other game that I do have expansions with. The one drawback is you had to uninstall all the old games before installing the new all-in-one.
Since tomorrow's my birthday, we'll see what else I end up with as PC games, movies, and music make up most of my list. ;D
Sincerely, Phil

I have all my citybuilders installed, Caesar III, Pharaoh, Zeus, Emperor, CotN, CivCity Rome, and Caesar IV.
The only thing I'm currently playing actively is a reinstall of a old game Star Fleet Academy II. I'm out to conquer the whole map this time as a Klingon and well on my way to doing so, but its a long long slog as the hexagonal segments of the map fall or open up very slory.
